KGPR WARRANY AND RETURN POLICIES

WARRANTY: The Karmann Ghia Parts & Restoration product line of merchandise is guaranteed to be exactly as represented. Karmann Ghia Parts & Restoration will exchange an article proven defective in workmanship or material, provided it was not damaged by alteration, improper application or neglect. In all events seller liability is limited to replacement of the merchandise or the invoice value of material claimed to be defective. Freight must be prepaid on all returned merchandise.

MERCHANDISE RETURN:

A 15% RESTOCKING FEE APPLIES TO ALL RETURNS AND EXCHANGES UNLESS KGP&R WAS IN ERROR. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Merchandise may not be returned without permission. We require the use of a Karmann Ghia Parts & Restoration Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) The customer will be provided a RMA upon request and must appear on any and all packages when merchandise is returned. There will be no exceptions as packages received without a RMA will be refused and returned to the customer.
A restocking charge of 15% will be made on all returns unless due to our error. Freight must be prepaid on all returned merchandise.

CLAIMS AND SHORTAGES: Claims for damage or shortage must be made by the consignee (You) to the freight forwarder as soon as the damage or shortage is discovered. We are neither responsible for nor are in a position to make a claim after the freight carrier accepts the shipment from us. Claims for shortage or error in shipment must be made telephonically or in writing (fax or email) within 2 days of receipt of shipment. It's a good idea to always count your boxes and/or items and not just sign for boxes/pallets without checking the contents.

ALL SALES FINAL AFTER NINETY (90) DAYS. NO EXCEPTIONS

CORES

Core returns must have original invoice number written on outside of package and MUST be returned within 30 days of receiving replacement!

  • MUST be rebuild-able
  • Bumpers cannot have rust holes, tears, or deep rust pits, or have been modified.
  • Clocks and gauges must be complete, and not modified/opened.
  • Wiper Motors must be for the same year as purchased.
  • Mirrors must be for same year as purchased.

Items that qualify for return shipping reimbursement MUST be returned via UPS, USPS, or FedEx directly. KGPR will NOT reimburse shipping cost for items returned using 2nd source shipping companies (ie. Mail Boxes etc.)

KGPR WARRANTY POLICY

  • Limited* lifetime warranty on ALL new parts (RP, BR, GR, OE, etc)
  • 90 day warranty on all used parts (U)
  • 1 yr. warranty on all Re-chromed or Re-built parts (RC or RB)

* Limited to replacement only, to original buyer with proof of purchase.

Items that have been modified, altered, or damaged by improper installation, misuse/neglect are not eligible for return.
